XYZWeb is primarily meant to provide opportunities for a web presence mainly for artists, photographers, and musicians. This can be achieved by the hosting of an individual's web site by XYZWeb Limited who can also design the website. Or by hosting on a pre-designed website where the individual artist can pay a relatively small fee for a subweb. This would allow for individual control of that subweb by the client. We are also quite happy to provide a service to those who would like to have a website for community purposes and for small companies and sole traders. Current list of Websites

Website or Yellow pages?

Whilst an advertisement in Yellow Pages can undoubtedly attract custom for your business, the cost is quite significant, especially where the business wants to use a picture or graphic image to attract the attention of the customer. The initial cost of designing a website for your business will probably be more than the annual cost of an insert in Yellow Pages but after the first year the cost of having a business website can be considerably less. More and more people are now using the Internet to search for local services, whilst Yellow Pages is a less attractive service. Some people use Yellow Pages to search for services and then go to the advertisers website (those that have one) to get further information. A similar argument can be used to compare other paper based advertising options. Newspaper ads are not cheap and magazine ads are even more expensive. Websites for clients are advert free except where the client wants to include advertising.

Photographic and Video Services

XYZWeb can buy a domain name for a client and manage that domain.  The company is also preparing to offer special services for artists, for example, high quality archive quality photographic prints. The photography of paintings and other media for reproduction (on demand) and videocamera assignments.  The preservation of photographic materials by scanning to CD or DVD disk after various photo-restoration work can also be undertaken, this work can include preserving family collections of photos.

Personal Service

Although, individuals are able given time and  resources to create and or restore  their own photographic and computer based materials it is recognized that we only have so much time and there is a growing need for those people who have the expertise to provide a service.

The creative people at XYZWeb are in some ways ideally suited to provide these services as they are engaged in promoting their own work and are sensitive to the needs of the artist.
